I had trouble putting both Empire and Party on the same computer. And I only have the one computer. So what I did was, I just un-installed Party, then installed Empire. I figure when I want to play Party, I can uninstall Empire and re-install Party. I have the downloaded files sitting on my computer so I don't have to download every time, so it's a very quick process.

My question for people who know computers is, am I going to seriously f*ck up my computer if I start going back and forth like that?

You sure? It seems like the registry changes back and forth type stuff could be an issue if I keep doing it.

When you uninstall software, it will often still leave some registry entries unless you go back and manually remove them (like the reg key that Party used to leave that you needed to delete to install Empire). Uninstalling will remove most of them though...although I do not recommended that you delete anything from you registry b/c you may seriously screw up your PC if you dont know what you are doing. When you reinstall it, it will usually just write over the ones that were left behind and write anew where it needs to. The only issue this will create is fragmenting your hard drive but if you defrag, run disk cleanup, etc etc like you are supposed to then you have nothing to worry about. If you want to be on the safe side, create a restore point prior to embarking on this software frenzy.

Of course, this all assumes that you have a fairly up to date PC that is not about to bomb on its own.
