22 hand ---flopped a set----------

bobby, hopefully this is not indeed a bad idea, as your quick success at it is going to have a lot more folks trying it out. Hopefully they will be as skilled at it as you and not lose the initial buyin. Especilly if it is their entire BR.
I don't happen to think it's a bad idea at all if the initial buyin is just a small portion of your entire BR and am thinking of trying it out on Limit 6MAX myself. Granted, in the Limit game there isn't the 100xBB buyin limit that NL has but I will treat it as though it did. Actually, I think I will treat it as a 50xBB buyin as 100xBB in a 1/2 game would just be way too much to sit down with in my opinion. I've always been kinda chicken to try the much higher limits out that I can't really justify otherwise with my entire BR but I think just putting $100 into the experiment should prove quite interesting. Might just loosen me up a bit too (probably a good thing) knowing that if I lose it I will go back to my normal game.

I went from 50 NL to 400 NL in a couple hours-----was a great experience....I got experience at 400, which will not happen every day!! But at least it took AA to kick my ass in the 400..........

Ok, I went back and reread the original. The "theory" is double up twice at each level, which actually does make more sense. A LOT more.
