I have to admit, there's part of this that makes no sense.
And that's when people say things like "If you lose it, down the line, you're not out 10k, but $100."
This is simply not true.
That's like saying because I started my poker bankroll with $500, that therefore if I lost what I've built that up to, it is just losing $500.
Once you have the money you can cashout and have it.
So if you ran it up to $4k and then lost it, you lost $4k.
Now that doesn't mean this isn't an interesting idea, or an acceptable risk to take, but just be clear about its justifications.
