I have only one database with enough hands to constitute a decent sample, and I'm a loser every day of the week except Wednesday and Thursday where I crush my competition. I find that very stange.
As for why the losses on the weekends. This is strange because this is when all the bad players are out. Even though variance increases, win rate ought to go up, no? Aren't the bad players the ones that good players get their money from? Why would the presence of more bad players make win rate go down or as is the current subject of discussion make a win rate into a loss rate? If Ice started playing 10NL, I doubt the presence of more bad players would result in a loss. This leads me to think the cause is local.
Is there anything different with you on these days Ice? I tend to be drunk a bit more while playing the weekends, so perhaps that is my reason for losing on the weekends. Longer sessions with more mental fatigue? I tend to play longer sessions on the weekends.
