I like your raise on the turn because there is a 4 straight out there as well as a slight two pair possibility. You need to make any 9 pay the maximum to draw at you.
There are definately many times to check a set on the flop and hope for action behind you but with this flop I don't think it was one of those times. The cards were all pretty low and the flush possibilty was out there. Many people will call you here on the flop with overcards and that is wonderful. Lead out and let's say an A hits the turn. Now you can check and let that pair of aces bet and then raise everyone for two bets on the turn.
