Here's a recent hand of mine where I made a stupid bluff on the river, but it worked!
Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed)
Preflop: Hero is BB with , .
1 fold, MP raises, 2 folds, Hero calls.
Flop: (4.50 SB) , , (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets, Hero raises, MP calls.
Turn: (4.25 BB) (2 players)
Hero bets, MP calls.
River: (6.25 BB) (2 players)
Hero bets, MP folds.
Final Pot: 7.25 BB
Since he raised pre-flop, there's a good chance he has a pair here and is calling down. And if he doesn't, that river completes a straight for KJ - another likely raising hand. Yet I bluff him off the best hand. I don't think I'll even be successful 10% of the time in this exact situation.Statistics: Posted by EscapePlan9 — Sat Oct 01, 2005 1:35 am
