But, you could always just call here and bet/raise any river. You limit your exposure to the situation where you have the worst hand on the turn (if he made two pair), and on the river you will probably lose the same number of bets as you would have lost if he had two pair on the turn - it would be difficult for him to three-bet a raise on the river without a super strong hand. I mean it's either three or four bets on the turn and one on the river, or two bets on the turn and two on the river. Each one loses you 4 bets if behind.
However if you're ahead, then he might bet the river and call the raise, winning you the exact same # of bets you would have won if you three bet the turn and bet the river.
