Since statistically you are behind 70%-80% of the time, and you are out of position, I don't see how I am seeing "monsters under the bed"
The comment that he "must be drawing" because he flat called on 5th is pretty self evident by the card he caught - J. Now he catches good, so he most likely isnt drawing any more. If the guy is bad enough to call wiht a pair and a jack, on 5th, i want to add him to my Christmas card list.
What do you do if you are raised on 6th? You can't fold because you built a pot giving yourself 7.5:1 odds.
What do you call a raise or a bet with on the river?
Razz isn't my best game, I am still learning how to think in it. The twodimes sims are fine, but you have to put some percentages to likely occurence of different scenarios.
If I did my math right, there is only about a 29% chance of that 5 pairing him if he started with an 8 low or better. 21% if you think he would call with 9 to a nine.
So, 70+% of the time you will be betting as a big dog (4:1).
I will run some more numbers later. This hand is interesting. I think the EV here is a in how well you play 6th and 7th, Kind of like blind raising in limit holdem.Statistics: Posted by Beavis68 — Sat Aug 19, 2006 11:03 am
