Subject: FPP and Images - Suggestion
Dear PokerStars,
First off, I would like to thank you for the excellent product and
service that you provide, out of all of the online poker sites, I think that
your's is by far the best for many reasons, mostly because, I have very rarely
experienced lag or disconnects from your site, you offer a wide array
of limits and tournament styles, and your level of support is amazing (the
player search, the ability to request hand and tournament histories, as
well as the new feature of being able to store hand histories on the
hard drive).
I am writing about two of my favorite features of your site, the
ability to have a personal image as your avatar and your FPP system. These are
both great ideas, the image lets the game become more personal by
giving a unique quality to yourself and your opponents, instead of a generic
person sitting at a table like most other sites, and the FPP system rewards
players who continue to play the site or play for higher stakes. My
suggestion is this though, I think it would be a nice feature to allow
someone to switch their image by paying or accumulating a certain
amount of FPP's. I understand that you probably pay people to scan images as
they are requested to make sure they are not obscene, and allowing anyone to
switch their image at any time would result in a massive amount of work
and cost, so by allowing changes to be made this way would limit the amount
of changes, while at the same time providing yet another reward for
frequent and high stakes players.
Anyways, thanks for taking the time to read my suggestion, and also
thanks for an excellent forum in which to play this great game, I wish you
continued success.
thanks,
Charles
