Some examples:
KK raised from EP pre-flop, re-raised, and capped! Of course, my J8o hits the muck. Flop comes 9 high, he bets, and gets 2 callers. Turn and river are blanks. He tells the one player--"Ok--show me the pocket pair." He turns over 93o and shows his rivered two pair.
Dom would go on to have KK cracked again, as well as QQ twice. All to junk.
One player decided he had enough for the night, so he just raised blind on every street. Funny part is that he actually won a hand.
I feel fortunate to walk away with a winning session.
My HoTN candidate: First hand dealt. I'm about 3 off the button, he asks if I want to post. I tell him, naah, I'll wait. He says, "You should really play this hand, and you should always listen to your dealer." I grudgingly post. He deals me 64o. This doesn't look good. I check, and it is checked around. The flop?
2-3-5, rainbow.
Thanks, Hoopes (yes, his real name). And the moral of the story? Always listen to your dealer.Statistics: Posted by Tiburon — Tue Jul 05, 2005 10:08 am
