I hope you can answer what is perhaps a typically stupid newbee question: I've just been trying to get up and running on PokerStars, despite some of the negative press it's been getting from y'all. The account is now open okay. But I'm having trouble with the process of funding my account. (No, this is not a begging letter! There are just barely sufficient funds at the bank. ) I already have a Neteller account which I attempted to use at PokerStars but they want to charge me 8.9% for the transfer. That is highway robbery! And to my way of thinking that is too high a threshold to have to climb over. On a $200 deposit, that means you have to win $17.80 before you begin to make any money.
I see above that shortd81 offered to trade money through PayPal. He must have had the same reaction I did to the banking charges.
Am I going to run into this problem every time I want to try a different online poker site?Statistics: Posted by Poquette — Mon Sep 12, 2005 8:47 pm
