You can probably play profitably with any VPIP below 40%. Starting out I'd recommend looking for a number between 15 and 25%. Lower than 15 and you're passing up too many opportunites, higher than 25 and you're getting a bit sloppy. As your post flop play improves you can get away with a vpip of 30%, but I'd really give it some time before doing that (unless you're a natural, in which case please stay away from me).
My w@sd is anywhere from 62 (at the $50 tables - 5000 hands) to 57 at the $100s (only 1800 hands I think). I have more $25 hands (8000 or so) and I think my w@sd there is right in between them. I think I'm too low at the $100s (and thusly in the red right now at that level) due to some iffy calls and good turn calls that were sucked out. If you are above 70 then you are way too tight and really passing up too many profitable calls. Likewise, if you are below 55 or so then you are entering the calling station zone.
