Numbers that stuck out to me:
VP$IP: Every group has a very high VP$IP. Players that loose have a higher VP$IP then players that win, as expected, but break even players have approx the same VP$IP as winning players.
VP$SB: Again very high across the board.
W$SF: This seems to be the most important number. It goes up, BB/100 goes up. (which is scary for my because mine is currently a little above 20%)
WTSD: Inverse bell. It looks like very good players and very bad players are showing down more then average players.
W$SD: Even with players that are making good of money this is still lower then I thought it would be.
Aggression: It looks like Aggression pays a little bit, but not as much as it does in hold'em.
Overall it looks like there is no easy way to beat this game. The players that are doing well don't have numbers that are vastly different from players that are break even. It is also amazing that players that are playing twice as many hands as I do can have the same (or higher) W$SF. VP$IP of 37 + W$SF of 31 == winning a hand every 8. I am winning a hand every 17. It looks like I have a ways to go to start winning at this game *sigh*. Maybe I will go back to PLO8, I already know how to win at that.
Thought? Options? Requests to stop posting all these "useless" numbers?Statistics: Posted by GooperMC — Sat Mar 19, 2005 12:12 am
