I am playing at bet365 which is a prima site i am going to post the hand now as best i can this is omaha HIGH .10/.20
Player is directly to my left.. read is calling station, comfortable calling bets with top pair for example
anyway here is the crucial hand and my analysis
maniac raises in mid position to usual ,.80 cents 3 callers including myself with
Ac 10c Qc 6s
flop comes
Jd 8c Kd
this gives me nut straight, draw fearing diamond flush draw of course, pot bet is made by Villain 3 callers including myself... the table is loose and i call thinking that if a diamond comes i am in check\fold
turn comes Qs giving me Ace high straight, flush hasn't hit yet
villain bets out again 2.80 into pot of 15.40
one caller... i have him covered just...and put him on the flush draw pot is nowover twenty dollars so i go all in for 22.20 the villain thinks for ages and then calls for the remainder of his stack our other player folds
we show the cards!! I am shouting no diamond on river please!! I was standing to take down a 62 dollar pot
my opponent turns over
Kh Jh 2s 6c
Giving him two pair and no diamond draw .. thank goodness for that i think
the turn comes
Jc
and of course he scopes the pot with his full house, which i make to be 4 outs... that makes me about a 90% fave at this point much better than i actually thought
If i had my opponent on the flush draw and i had a made nut straight... was this a bad play as i was about 3/1 ahead..... but with this being omaha and still making the transition
i am just seeking assurance..
obvious dont rip me to shreds... but with a made ace high straight on the turn and with a flush draw visible was it sensible to put him all in considering the relation of pot size
I hope that has come over ok.. thanks for helping!
