Vilain is long ball very tight player... I think he did'nt played a hand out of blinds in the last 3 orbits
I think I already know the answer, but I'm just surious.
Blinds are 100/200
BB has 20K+
I have 18 500 Q near (built this stak winning an insane number of small pots. Biggest pot won was 4500 of profits with a str8 A high on the river with KQ in a multi way pot.
I have AQs on the CO
LP limps
I raise 800 (wanted to take LP heads up, he was a calling station)
BB reraise 1000 (1800 total) Probably TT+ AK
LP folds
I almost fold aswell but finaly I call hoping for 2 pairs or a flush draw + 2 overs considering my pot odds, I think it was an ok play...
Flop Ax Qc Xc Bingo!!!
He bets 1200 (I dont really like that small bet but hey, I have top 2!!!!)
I raise to 4000 total (both for info and value)
he reraises allin
DAM!!!
I made a huge laydown a few hands before when I was the preflop raiser with KK, flop came J high and I finaly layed it down to an all in raise. I was right cause vilain shown 88 for mid set... (What a bad play from him IMHO) I then said I had KK giving vilain the info I can make a huge laydowns. (I know I know... thats stupid, I should have shut up)
I also made a few other laydowns to check raises on the flop before and vilain saw all of these.
But now, Do you thik vilain is using this info to take the pot away from me with KK, or is he protecting AK from the FD or does he really have a set of Qs or As!?!?!?
If I fold, I still have 13K in chips and I'm an OK position with an M of 30+ (but the blinds go up in a few minutes)
I can also call and win a huge pot to take the chip lead (or almost)
On the other end, my tournament can also be over if I call almost drawing dead to set of Qs or 99% dead to a set of As!
Should I take the risk to double up or wait for a real monster and use my image to induce a bluff from a less solid player?
You probably all know what I did and what is the result but try to be as honest as possible.
