Also, i always have a somewhat tough time playing middle pairs when im semi-deep and/or not in push-fuck mode. Reraising them / shoving with them is a bitch cause mizors seem to love to flip for big stacks when theres really no reason to, even when they hold subpar big paint hands (like KQ for example)...when you have a stack you oughta be lookin for a better spot than a flip id say...But, taking a flop with these hands is tricky too, so its allaround pretty gay. Anyways, heres how this particular hand hand went: (Comments on every street would be appreciated)
I am in the SB with TT. I have ~35k, and the blinds are like 300/600 or so. Mizor from EP has like 25k and makes it 1800 to go. No read on mizor, hacent noticed him doing anything out of the ordinary but i had only gotten to table like 10 hands ago or so. Folded to me. I figure im OOP and have a good stack, no need to get outta line, i just call. Flop comes 346 rainbow. Pots like 3500.
I check, with the intention of CRing, or possible just calling depending on how big his bet is. Instead, he checks behind.
Turn is a 9, which puts a flushie draw out. I decide to bet ~pot, maybe a bit less. Mizor Minraises me. I tank a bit and donkoff a call, hopin he has A9 or a big heart draw.
River blanks, i dont even reember what it was. Maybe an 8 or something. No flush got there, 9 was still top pair, and my tens were still paired over. Pots like close to 20kish now. Mizor bets 12k on river. Im havin a hard tim figuring what he has, im either bluffing with busted flushie draw/A9 is what im beating, and a mizorish-ly played AA or KK is what is smashing me. I donk off a call and he shows 66 for a flopped set.
So basically, any of you donkament experts have thoughts on how i played this?
I have a feeling i coulda gotten off this hand somewhere, and / or maybe prevented him from seein a flop (sorta doubtful i guess, givne stacks/blinds, that'd involve me puttin in like a 10k reraise into a 2k pot but fuck me, i dno)
