Tonight was my first time playing 5/10. I normall play 3/6 and since my roll is ~$3000 i thought i'd see how I faired at the next level. After getitng kings cracked within my first 5 hands I really wasn't feeling to good about it but i kept my wits and soon after this hand occured. Is this guy a gem in a minefield or are a lot of the players so.. maniacal? (This is at FTP btw).

PS does anyone think I should have played this any differently? Raised the river?

At the 5/10 on Stars, it can be a rock garden or a nut house. I've seen players cap flops with that K2o crap, and I've seen tables with VP$IPs below 19%.

Just from what ive seen alot of players a super aggressive and will keep raising sometimes even if they havent hit the flop at all.

I guess the aim is to get you to fold thinking they have the absolute nuts, it happens to me alot when i have say TPTK and i would usually think i would be ahead in a hand and i used to fold sometimes when someone represents a set or a straight or flush now i usually call it down cheaply if i can because 1/2 the time they have complete crud!
