I'm 2 off the button, and have been raising it up in LP, mostly to isolate TOUT_OU_RIEN -- think I'm 16/12 at this point. Iron_Goose is 15/9/3.6, TOUT_OU_RIEN is super loose, occasionally aggressive, and once called me down with ace high when I raised his blind with QJ and he check-raised the 633 flop (I hit a jack on the turn).

The hand converter choked on this one...

I like the aggression with overcards and a straight draw. The ace must have felt like your gin card. The only trouble I'd have is the other guy coming along all that way, especially being tight-aggressive. Could he have hit top pair/bigger kicker? Could he have been playing AK? or did that [4h] give him a flush?

I think he just wanted to value bet his hand after you checked. The fact that he re-raised you pre-flop would have worried me. Weak call on the flop, weak call on the turn. He had an ace. The kicker would scare me.

I think he had AQ or AKo and took the pot.

what's your reason for the check raise on the river? Do you really think they have weaker hands and will bet them out? I would either lead or check call.

Yeah, that's the most interesting part of the hand. With the button not raising the flop you have to put him on either a scared TT or JJ, or an AQ or AK. When he didn't raise the turn I figured he was more likely to have TT or JJ, and I thought he would bet that if checked to (this reasoning looks a little suspect in hindsight, if he is already scared of my bets).
