PokerStars 0.10/0.20 Hold'em (8 handed) from (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 3, K.
UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, 1 fold, MP2 calls, CO calls, 1 fold, Hero completes.

I figured I had some pretty good odds to try for the 2nd nut flush (what I'm really hoping for)...

Flop: (6 SB) Q, 5, 6 (6 players)
Hero bets, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls, CO raises, Hero 3-bets, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, MP2 folds, CO caps, Hero calls, UTG+1 calls.

I had seriously thought about check raising this, but with no PF aggression I figured I had a decent hand...when I was raised, I reraised making others call 2 cold (kind of hoping to get the nut FD to fold)...The cap worried me but I had seen this guy go super agg with bottom pair on a rainbow board earlier...

Turn: (10 BB) K (4 players)
Hero bets, UTG+1 calls, CO raises, Hero 3-bets, UTG+1 calls, CO caps, Hero calls, UTG+1 calls.

TPNK and 2nd nut FD...again, the 3bet was designed to hopefully get UTG+1 to fold...the cap convinced me I may be beat (but again, I'd seen this guy go super nova with Bottom pair...so I'm not convinced he has a hand...

River: (22 BB) 6 (4 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, CO bets, Hero calls, UTG+1 folds.

Missed my FD , but I had to call given the size of this pot...comments?

Outcome: CO wins 12 BB. BB wins 12 BB.

the turn 3-bet is big time spew.

And you are never, ever, ever, ever, ever getting a flush draw (let alone the nut flush draw) to fold on this flop. Flop 3-bet is ok (calling is the more standard play for me), but you can't expect the nut flush draw to fold!

I dont like the flop aggression. You have good equity vs the field so keep them in. you really dont want fold people out. No one that would improve your equity is going to for really. You can't go for a free card play because you are oop;

I dont think you K outs are worth enough to clean up. You have plenty of opponents to play this for value as a flush draw. Losing playing and gaining an out doesnt really add much strenght to the hand.

I think any equtiy you gain by knocking out someone wiht KJ or AK gets negated by the loss of bets that they would have called vs your flush. especially since you may lose an even weaking hand.

I haven't looked at the results but.....

I rarely do this but I thik I'm going to lean towards agreeing with Beavis here. At least as far as the flop play. You have a great draw why try and blow people out of the pot? You managed to eliminate 2 peopl in there to help pad your draw.

Turn, meh, I don't like throwing 12035145 bets at the pot here. Our K may or may not be good... If he's bluffing you make more by letting him bet, if you're beat we still have our draw, plus save $ if were behind.

River... As played the pot is huge so we might as well see if our kings are any good. (which I'm sure they're not otherwise the unlucky part wouldn't be in the post)
