I mainly play full ring games but last night i started to play 6 max, and i lked it, but my question is about my numbers for it. I know that this is way to small a sample but can you guys give me an idea where they need to be?

Full ring 6105 hands/ 21.92 vpip/ 8.14pfr
6 max 696 hands/ 36.21vpip/ 16.67pfr

I know these ridiculously small samples (my last CPU died with 10k hands full ring with similar numbers).

by the way these are at .50/1$ limit.

thanks

Full ring: you're a little bit too loose and aren't raising enough pre-flop. Read SSHE's "tight" guidelines for a good start in the right direction. On looser tables, you can get away with 17-19 VPIP and 9 PFR, but at the tighter tables you probably should be somewhere around 14-17 VPIP and 10 PFR.

6-max: you're quite loose here. From 2p2 guidelines and stats posts, only the absolute best players can profitably play at 30-32 VPIP. I personally play 24/16, which is pretty much the average for profitable play. Too many people get carried way with short-handed and play far more hands far more aggressively than they should. Play it pretty close to the same as you would full-ring with the first four players folding.

Thanks escaplan for the info., i know i am a little loose on the full ring but i just have a hard time getting it lower than 19-20%. I have read how tight piers is here and that is just sick, thats why i went to 6-max knowing that i can plan KJo out of position and feel confident when i hit it, you know what i mean. I think i just hit a good table last nite and just took over and made my draws and pushed people off there hands. I will work on tighting up later tonite, and i have read SSHE and was just touching up on HEFAP today.
