I have not played at party for a while, but since i'm layed up for a while with a brolen bone in my foot, I decided to make a deposit today. I can't belive some of the hands i'm seeing at showdowns and in the hand history. I actually had a guy call me down (when a multi way pot got paired down to just me and one opponent) with a 9 high, when I flopped a full house with my AQ. This guy had no possible draw and the flop was AAQ and this guy capped the pot. Maybe it's a night to mathematically balance out all those bad beats. Well just had to tell someone and since my wife's already asleep i shared it with you. I would love to know if this is the norm at party now, though.

Let me tell you I am not leaving Party for a while. Hoo HA! These guys and gals are straight from watching the WPT (either that or they're on acid) and all think they can play 'Gus Hands'.

No disrespect to them, though! A lot of them are BIG short term winners and enjoy themselves immensely, which is great for the game.

You can see things as ridiculous as KJo vs J8o ending up all-in against each other on a flop of AQJ - I mean... all you have to do is to wait for a 'proper' hand to connect with the flop, and more often than not you'll win! These folks love to 'read people' and make 'great calls'. LOL!

I always make a point to be extra chatty and nice with the live ones, and I get real nasty with the 'Authority Artie' types that tap on the glass and say 'keep playing that crap and I will bust you - you should fold more hands'. I'm like 'SHUT UP!' Would you prefer if every time someone called you, you were beat? Foolish people.

You just have to be careful with the folks like yourself (i.e. who can play, and fold more than they call, and show down good hands). And sussing out when the live ones DO actually have a hand can be quite tricky, as they have camouflaged their good ones by raising all their good ones. So you will sometimes lose a lot of money like this. But you should make far more! Yay!

You probly don't have to worry about me, i'm still at the .50-1.00 limit games, building my bankroll up. I had a successful run at party in june and july, the last time i was off of work injured, but i had to cash in the whole enchillata(SPELL CHECK) to pay the bills. I played at a couple sites since then, but none of them had players like this, even at the low limits I am playing at.
