Hi,

as a novice (playing only for a couple of days now) I seem to have a decent play in pre flop with a VIP around 16-18% but in post flop I seem to suck, because I loose often and often big with good starting hands. I think i go to showdown to often (63 %) and win the showdown not often enough (40%) This has lead me to -17.33 BB/100 in 400 Hands (ok it is a small number but i'm only playing for a couple of days and I want to stop this tendencies as soon as possible)

Some Advice would be appreciated!

IMO, I would lead out the flop and if I get raised, then its all a read issue. If you think he's trying to buy it, you can play back. Checkraising doesn't give you much info because he could bet to try and buy it but calls the bet with nothing anyway. It leads you to have to lead the turn. By leading out, you could win the pot right there.

On the river, when you bet out, I would just call his raise and save yourself a couple bucks. He likely had the T or the 2 by the way he played it. Him raising you indicates trips or AT. Don't feel bad, an unimproved AK can be one of the most difficult hands to play. Many times its still the best hand, but its often hard to tell and only betting when you hit it seems weak/tight. I suggest getting poker tracker and GT+ add on to help with reads on people to know who you should try to but pots from and who you should just fold.

Raising here is definitely correct. You have a good hand and need to charge people to see the flop. On the flop, leading out is probably the best line to take -- that's what people generally do with pocket pairs in this situation, and that's what you'd like to represent. You have only one opponent and chances are the flop missed him. If you get called it's probably best to check/fold the turn, and if you get raised it's probably best to lay it down.

Since you check-raised and got reraised, you can be sure he has at least a T. There are about 8 small bets in the pot so I'm inclined to call this and try to hit an A or K (odds of hitting one of your overcards is about 7:1 against). When it doesn't come, check/fold the turn.

Good post flop play is something that comes with a little experience and examination of why things go wrong, so keep posting your trouble hands!
