The flop bet is most likely your garden-variety continuation bet - nice raise there. Turn bet is fine - it's doubtful the Q helped him enough to beat you. I like the river as well. Since this is 6-max, chances are he just spiked his K-no kicker.

Agreed stickdude. If he caps the river, you may have just been sucked out on, but I think you made the right play here regardless.

i know a lot of 2+2ers bet/raise on the flush scare card consistently, so i definitely wouldn't say that you're "spewing chips". that being said, i'd probably just call without a good read... something like the "Win SD when Raise River" stat from PAhud.

You call there virtually everytime preflop in my opinion Dan. You are getting 3:1 on your money and you have position, there is simply no two cards bad enough for me to fold here.

The last time I played live 3-6 and 4-8 I can't remember it ever getting to a HU blind confrontation Xas put it pretty good in that it can be ok at limited times to fold here and those are very limited for me, like a SB that is an ULTRA rock and decided to raise here then most of the time I am not going to bother as the likelihood of him having an overpair is very high. And just because you defend doesn't mean you have to get into a shooting match if you totally whiff on the flop, at least the first time he decides to do this.
