That it does, that it does. A TRUE mizor gets called no matter what, because people assume he's just attempting to mize the pot off them with some sort of a gutshot straight / one overcard (if he's lucky) semi bluff (which is often the case, as it were)
For example, in the old B&M yesterday i made a mizorly move that turned out to be very ill conceived, but which worked out pretty well in the end.
I beleive the hand went something like this:
I have
in the BB and the CO raises, and its folded to me and i call.
Flop is
I lead into him on the flop and he flat calls. The turn comes another
, and I check, intending to CR him if he bets it (which i thought he might). He bets i raise, he thinks for a bit and calls. Now im like oh crap, looks like hes going to call me down with 88 or something like that. River of course, is the
. I bet he calls, and i have a boad. He flashes the
, throws his cards, gets up from the table, and starts jibber jabbering to one of his buddies in chinese, and pointing over to where im sitting. I LOLed and yelled over to him that my 'set draw' will get there approximately 40% of the time, and that he should quit his bitching. Hehe.
