I dunno bout my bet on the river. I was sort of hoping he had Aces up, and that i out drew his ass. I just couldnt imagine he'd call 2.5 bets cold with cards that made the STRAIGHT! Yeah, its true, he coudlve had a set-- but i figured hed bet the river with that, not being worried about my possible kicker hit.

Anyways, maybe im gonna have to jump on the 'limit holdem sucks ass' bandwagon.

The question is, did i play this hand retardedly? I.e. should i have folded the turn to a raise and a coldcall? I very well mightve if i hadnt been the original bettor - and i honestly thought someone had a straight draw and the other guy had aces up, which meant i was drawing to like, 9 outs? fuck!

Bonus question: What do you suppose the guy who cold called $40 on the turn had, that wasnt worth a 3bet, or even a call on the river? Openender? Weak ace?

I don't think you should have folded the turn because they could be raising with tp and a new flush draw. I can't say I find a problem with the hand on your end but I'm not experienced as SH limit.

Bonus answer: the guy might have had middle pair with flush draw on turn like 87h.
