War of the blinds at 6-max near you!

Prima Poker skin
Limit Holdem Ring game
Limit: $0.5/$1
5 players

Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is BB with [As] [9s]
3 folds, SB raises, Hero 3-bets, SB caps, Hero calls.

Villain is new to the table so i have no stats. So after a few hand i have just a hunch that he is kind of reckless. Many people raise or fold in the sb and can play a lot of hands. Standard 3-bet. He 4-bets. Could be one of two things. Either he has a better hand or he just he wants to keep initiative.

Flop: [9c] [7s] [5s] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, SB 3-bets, Hero caps, SB calls.

I flop good. I raise and cap for value and for a possible chance to win the hand without improving. Even if he has KK here im a big favourite. Only hands that is stronger than mine at the moment is AA, a set. (or straight)

Turn: [Qd] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, SB 3-bets, Hero calls.

I make one final attempt to win the hand unimproved. I could possibly have the best hand and i have many outs to improve. Usually when that is the case i will just call down. But now that the pot is so big i want him to fold right here, right now. I could also get a free showdown if he just calls. (with an underpair to Q) Ofcourse i risk the 3-bet! ouch!

River: [4c] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls.

The pot is quite hugh (and he seems reckless) i call. Comments on any street is welcome... did i do alright?

I like it, but I think you should have capped the turn too. I think you have enough equity here (fold, second pair Ace kicker, Flush draw) to make this profitable. With this size of pot, it won't hurt that much to throw one more in there, but as the others said, you may be beat. But if you just call, or raise call, on the turn, then when your flush hits (if), he will smell a rat and possibly bail or flat call. Staying aggressive on the turn allows you to cap the river if you hit.

I dont like the turn raise against an aggressive player. Better hand isnt folding and he almost certainly has one. Your hand isnt that strong yet, and with the amount of outs you have, you cant fold to a 3 bet.

Thanks for the input!

He had [Ac] [Qc] and he turned top pair. The hands i was hoping to fold on turn was something in that effect. AK, AJ, AT (or maybe JJ, TT) Result wise i wasn´t that far off thinking he could have overcard. But if you dont look at what he actually has then maybe the turn raise was spew. Have to be able to turn the heat off.

And i know.. a hunch is not set in stone. But sometimes you just know when someone is being out of line. (maybe its called a timing tell)

Everybody keeps saying he capped the flop. But if you look closely you will see that it was me who capped it...

When he donkbet the turn i was hoping it was a bet like with TT or JJ where he goes like okay if he raises me now im gonna fold. Like an information donk which you can use if you dont want to call down possibly wasting 2BB. (not saying that its a good play though)

But i probably got to heated up in the hand. Looking for any possible way to take home the pot even if its a too far of chance to be worth it.
