Was this fold weak play or smart play on my part? It pissed me off when he did it so I used the entire time bank before folding. He's a Tight Neutral according to PA HUD. Only had 45 hands on him at the time though.

These are situations that get me into trouble a lot of the time because I inevitably think they are trying to check raise me off the best hand and they inevitably are betting a made hand when I call them or reraise them. This time I managed to fold it but I can't always make myself do it for some reason.

I fold there unless I have a read not to.

So you guys are telling me that after raising preflop and then flopping 2 pair, you would check behind him on the turn? Doesn't that look terribly weak and begging for a lead out bet on the river by him to which you're probably going to have to fold? I mean he could have AK just as easily as AJ or Jx.

Kuso, does that over 40% under 20% thing work a real good percentage of the time? I already have those stats setup on PAHUD but I've never been sure what figures to use as ranges.

Sure, I'll check raise the turn from the blinds, especially the SB, with AK unimproved on that flop if I sense weakness from the guy that might just be trying to steal the blinds. And if he checks behind me on that flop, well, to me that looks weak. It doesn't look weak to everybody else? If not, then I may have found out why I am losing so much money from the blinds.
