Ya know, for all the suspect plays i make, like semi bluffing with gutshots/undercards and raising J5s, if anyone is wondering how it is i actually win, it is because first off, i am a luck sackin, card rackin, chip stackin sumbitch.

But beyond that, i do NOT flat call raises with KQ. But i gotta say, i love guys that do!

Does anyone play this any different? I was thinking of going for the turn CR but too often mizors are on flush draws in this situation- at least they have been lately. I pretty much put him on a KQ / KJ since he cold called the PF raise... Probly couldve made some more $ off his ass. Ah well

Lots of times I just call these raises on the flop when I have a hand like yours if there are no likely draws out but with the two flush I would have popped it again on the flop but when you get 4 bet I think I would have went for the CR on the turn barring a club but leading again is not a bad play at all. It may be just me but when someone 4 bets me instead of calling my 3 bet and going for the raise on the turn it signals a good but not powerful hand and many times they will just check the turn after you call the cap fearing they may be in trouble.

KQ is just a nightmare hand to be calling a raise with.

You can't call a raise with KQ, even suited. Think. You're dominated by almost every possible raising hand, and at best, you're probably a coin flip.

You cold call a raise with KQs (best case scenario). An ace flops, and a player leads into you--you're beat. None of your suit flops--you're looking at runner-runner to have a realistically positive expectation.

Offsuit? No chance--you need too much help to call with it, and you need to hit the flop big, and when you do, it's next to impossible to disguise...
