Why is everyone trying so damn hard to misunderstand what Ice is saying? It's a really good post that some players can learn a lot from and most should be able to take away at least a little from.
And really, so what if he says he's one of the best players at 1/2? What's so irritating about that? It's indisputable that he's a big winner, whether he's the best, in the top percentile or just slightly above average.. who cares? If he thinks he's the best, good for him. For what it is worth, I'd probably stake Ice over any other poster here. Not because I think he's the best at game theory or plays the perfect game, but because he's got excellent table selection and doesn't tilt, which is much more important for making a profit. Hell, last time I checked my winrate was better than Xastons at NL $100, and I don't think that is because I'm a better player of the game, I think it's because I am much, much better at table selection, whereas Xas seems to volontarily sit down with other good players, I avoid them like the plague.
