Xaston, I'm not sure if you are agreeing with me or making fun of me.
Implied odds require that you know you'll get paid if you hit. That is a "feel" thing. If you know a guy will pay off TPTK or 2pr you can make some "bad" calls, that's all I'm saying.
You can turn another players "good" calls into bad ones if you can feel you are beat and can make great laydowns. That makes their good calls (by math) bad ones in practice because the implied payoff evaporates.
Another player at my home game makes some pretty sick calls with 3rd and 4th pair, and he's not a payoff donkey. There's no math in those I know that much. Everyone wonders how he can make those sick calls but he does it with regularity and is very good at picking off the bluffs.
