All hands at Party $25 NL
One limper and I on the button w/ KJ. I have a stack of $25. BB has $40.
Flop
Jd 4c 7s rainbow
It is checked to me and I purposely bet $1 into the $2 pot. The BB calls and its folded around. I expect the BB to lead out for a pot sized bet on the turn.
Turn is a 2h. It looks like a good card and as expected the BB leads out for $3. I think this is my biggest mistake. I only re-raise to $7 and he calls. The river is a 9 and he checks to me. I bet $5 and he raises me to $15. I guess I should fold at this point, but I call and he has J9.
Hand 2
I limp along with 3 others plus the blinds w/ KQ in MP. I have a stack of $35. The player i'm involved with has $18.
Flop
KsQs5d.
I think about checking it in MP, but then think better of it with so many draws out there. I overbet the pot slightly to $3. It is called by the button. I have notes on him as limping with any suited cards so I suspect he is on a flush draw.
Turn is an offsuit J. The pot is around $8-$9 and the button has $13 left. I bet $10 leaving the button w/ $3 left. At this point, do you just push the button all in or do you bet the pot? If I bet the pot I still have to call the $3 even if a flush/straight card hits, but I also want him to call. Anyway, the river was an Ace and I pushed in his last $3 and he turned over J10.
Hand 3
I limp w/ AdJd on button with 5 limpers
Flop
4d5dJc
This is a great flop, however, the SB leads out for $4 a MP player calls $4 cold. I decide to raise strong (after my weak raise in Hand 1) and I raise to $12 and BOTH call! I'm not feeling too great about my hand at this point. The turn is a 6s. They check to me and I bet $9 putting both players all in. They both call. The river is a Kh.
SB turns over QJ and the MP turns over 1010.
