I love this game

I've been running horrendously. The only thing I've caught at the tables in the last 2 weeks has been strep throat which I'm recovering from nicely thank you very much. ;)

That is however, why I love no limit so much. Sometimes you catch cards - sometimes you don't. Nothing you can do about that so you take it like it comes. But in NL you often don't need to catch cards to win. If you keep your wits about you - refuse to tilt and continue to play your A game every time out - opportunities arise which will allow you to continue to pick up a few chips here and there and pay the rent even when things are going badly.

I think part of what makes NL such a great game is the anticiaption of your rush. No matter how bad you are running, the next hand could be the set, or flush, or str8 you have been waiting for and the monster pot you have been needing and the rush is on. The same seems to be true for winning days, they seem to group together, you play well, finally have that big winning day and it snowballs from there and all of a sudden you pull of a bunch of good winning sessions in a row. The hard part is to not drive yourself crazy when you are not winning. I still need work on this part. =)
