Heres my thinking: On the flop, i wanted to see if he would reraise... if he's carrying a top pair or a Q..
Turn is the same... his check told me he was weak but since i had no reads on him and he had a sizeable stack which meant he had been winning previously i baited him a bit with a decent raise (?) as other than the Qs I had an overpair, when the 8 came on the river... this is where i question my play... he checked, so far i kind of knew he was weak... but was still cautious of a CR and the 8 was higher than my 7s... do you think I should have bet here or was it wise to just check and not be greedy?

Did I play this too cautious? My logic in this is that no1 the A is on the table... and some one or the other always damn well has an A... then the 3 spades... small possibility, but still possible that someone flopped a flush and is waiting to jack me via a CR

My reasoning... PF if I bet more than 3x then i am going to be scaring away most of the ppl, on flop... i check because i know i pretty much have the best hand... on turn am a bit scared of a flush or straight draw so i bet around 3/4th pot, river i make a pot sized bet... there is a chance of him having a stright but other than that, i beat all hands... and was hoping he had something like AK.

I feel like a total fukwit for limping in here but i was playing multiple tables... anyway, what do you think of the rest of the hand? The reason I made a big bet on the river was i was fairly confident he didnt have the backdoor flush looking at the hand from the beginning... also do you think that bet was too high? the only person who would call that bet is a person with the flush?

Hand #1 don't min raise preflop and post flop just keep letting him bet. A min-raise might not actually be that bad in practice here but I think it's a sign you have way too much FPS though so I would just take standard lines.

Hand #2 put him in preflop.

Hand #3 wow you have way too much FPS this is really bad.

Hand #4 raise preflop and bet a bit more on the flop.

Hand #5 probably fold preflop and CR the river a bit more. I don't like CRing the flop here because he has QQ+ too much.

FPS = Fancy Play Syndrome.

Hand 1: This is a mistake you have made in a bunch of hands I have read. Do not EVER raise the minimum amount, this also goes for hand 2. There is no situiation where you should be hitting the raise button without changing the amount. Other than that you played the hand fine. On a board like this the flop has pretty much changed nothing, the fact that you have a full house means nothing, you are still in the same situation you were before the flop questioning if he has overcards or a bigger pocket pair. I like getting money in on the flop and turn and checking the river behind.

Hand 2: Your preflop raise amount is really bad, the whole idea of 3 betting is getting money in the pot with the best hand and denying your opponent correct odds to suckout. Do not EVER min raise. This is obviously a horrible flop for you but after he checks to you on the turn I would probably bet, very few players will check an ace or a big flush draw here twice and there is a really good chance you have the best hand.

Hand 3: Bet the flop, yes you have the board pretty well destroyed but hopefully someone wont believe you or someone has the case king. Checking means that you are going to play a small pot and that is not what you want with a big hand. There are very few times where it is correct to slow play, just bet your hands and dont try to get fancy.

Hand 4: Standard

Hand 5: I don't understand the combination of the last two hands, you raise UTG but you limp AT from the button? I would have raised the AT and not raised the A9. In a full ring game suited aces should only be raised from LP. Once you raise and villain min raises you have to see a flop. Again on this turn do not slowplay, bet your hand. Betting = building a pot, getting money in the pot with the nuts is a good thing right? This is a scary turn card for villain and he is going to check behind a good amount of the time. I also dont like your river play, bet your own hand, you are lucky villain played his hand really bad because he should pretty much never be calling your CR with AA. How dumb do you fell when he checks behind and you turn over the nuts after having checked it twice?

Ryans hand 3 a lot of people like to check this flop for the reasons you mentioned and this would be fine if the stacks were really shallow. The problem here is if you don't bet you don't build a pot. What card do you really want to come off here? The only really good card is an ace, any other card that hits your opponents hand makes them 2 pair meaning they had either the case king or middle pair, either way they are likely to call a flop bet anyways. When you check you are making it very difficult to get someone stack. The other issue comes in that a lot of turn cards can make your opponent a draw. Any card higher than a 3 can potentially make someone an open ended draw, in which case they call your 2.25 turn bet and folds if they miss and takes your remaining $22 when they hit. In this spot you either win a small pot or lose a big one.
