A couple of weeks ago I was in Vegas and I was playing at Mandalay Bay's $2/$4 max $200 buyin game when this hand came up.
I was on the button when every player in front of me limped, I look down and see [9d], small blind limps and big blind checks
Pot $40
Flop: 568 rainbow
BB bets $15 get called in 3 spots - no seems strong at all - and the only threat right now is the board pairing, but I'm not folding two pair or a set. So I decide to just call.
Pot $115
Turn [568] 2 completing rainbow
Its checked to me, ok so if someone is strong if I make a smallish bet the will probably raise me something at this point so I bet $25. BB calls, UTG says "I don't like this" and calls anyways, other two people call.
At this point I'm pretty confused - It was the first time at the table where everyone limped before the flop and I'm curious to what these 4 people could have that they are calling me with.
Pot $240
River is a K, checked to me I bet $35 - all 4 call .
Pot is $415 minus rake.
I never saw what anyone else had - but everyone was pretty surprised when I flipped my hand and said I have the nuts. I probably should have just flipped my hand.
