Was this a good lay down?

50 dollar buy in at empire.

I get [qdqs] utg with a stack of 50. I raise to 4 dollars. Utg +1 raises me 10 dollars (stack 92 dollars) and utg +2 reraises him with his last 5 dollars and everyone else folds back too me. I've only played 7 hands on this table and have no read on any of these players so due to the early postion reraises I think I'm beat here and fold. It ends up that utg +1 has[ jsjd] and utg+ 2 has [ac8h] and I would've won with no improvement to my hand. I was just wondering if anyone else would've played this hand as I did or would you you have called the all in bet. I hate the fact that I would've won about 70 dollars by calling but I still think I made the proper play. Thanks for the imput.

If I raise and then reraised I would consider dropping QQ preflop for 4 dollars. Hind sight however is always 20/20. You know now that you would have won but I would bet that is the rare case. Most times you are looking at TT and KK.

Some may say though you had pot odds to call. I like to think a better situation will present itself.

Here is a great example.

I have AA utg and limp. UTG+2 raises to 3 dollars. Small blind makes it 10. I go all in for 50 dollars. What on earth would you put me on? UTG+2 and Small blind call.

UTG+2 has TT, small blind QQ. T comes on the flop and he takes it.

I say good laydown.

I put you on AA and fold 99% of the time. The 1% would be I had seen you make that move with something other than AA

Most people arent that smart though. For example, check this out. Blinds are $2/$4:
I limp UTG with [Ah][Ac]. MP raise to $12, Cutoff calls $12, SB reraises to $32, I now reraise to $78. MP folds. Cutoff and SB both call.

There is no doubt in my mind the SB has KK, but Im not sure about the cutoff.
The pot is $250. The flop comes [Jd][Td][8c]. SB checks and I bet $200. Cutoff has $400 left and folds. SB has $115 and calls all in. The only possible hand he can beat is QQ.
Turn and river are both diamonds and he wins with [Kd][Ks].
Some people will never fold AA or KK no matter what the action at the table is.
