My first post on this site I would like to make it a memorable one. What better hand to do it with than my favorite hand, JJ.
First of all, I found my biggest fish and sat at his table right behind him. He outdrew me once and I bought back in. Forty hands later this hand comes up.
Planet .05/.10 NL $10 max table and I limp UTG at a full table and all folds to SB (average stack) who raises to $1. Fish calls (huge stack) and I feel I have both of them beat, plus what do most people think of when someone limp reraises???? Aces or KIngs maybe. Not these guys. So I reraise to $4 total and they both call. Flop comes all low cards (467 R) and after they check I bet my remaining $9 as I am pot comitted. SB calls which I am a little worried about but BB also calls who I am not worried about.
My JJ held up against SB's 88 and BB's outside straight draw.
Questions: What do you guys think of the way I played JJ UTG, trying to disguise it as a monster.
And against your biggest fish, how do you play them? I think raising anytime they are in the pot and you have a raisable hand would be one way but I was hoping for other people's strategies.
