Anyone been to Budapest?

A big group of us are going to Budapest for 2 days over new year (new cheap airline thingy) and having never been I was wondering if anyone might have any recommendations, an obscure question I know, but maybe....?

All I know is that booze is ridiculously cheap and that all my non smoking friends will be bringing back the maximum allowed no. of cigarettes.

One of my mates went this year and says that he found a decent cardroom where he played some limit HE, 1/2 euro I think. No idea where or whatever other games they might spread, but suffice to say he was pretty impressed with the quality of the place he visited, so if you're looking for a game .

Of course, this will be of zero interest if you're looking for a break rather than more "work", but I always find a game with my friends in real life to be far more fun than slogging it out online.
