Just wanted to share some news and fill you all in....
I haven't been doing all that much posting lately - but I've been around and have been doing a little reading through. The work I've been doing on the curriculum, which has been keeping me mighty busy btw, has led naturally to the outline of a book - which in turn has led naturally to a bit more than an outline. I've discussed this with some folks here and...
*drum roll*
Fifteen minutes ago I got a call from a publisher expressing interest and requested a few chapters for their review. Woo-hoo. Anywho, ya heard it here first. BTP is still home sweet home - I've just been so busy writing away that when I finally get here it's cause I can't type anymore....but I'm still here.

TUP, you will earn your money, believe me. But you'll become a member of a very small group...Author. I told a guy I was a novelist and he said he knew I wasn't published or I would have said "I'm an author." I didn't like him before that, either. 
If you need any help, I'll volunteer. I'm actually a much better editor than writer. Something about being unable to see your children in the proper light, or like a karoke singer with a tin ear who can't hear how badly they sing.
