Taking a little time off

Well it has been a really rough month for me. Some of you read my journal and read about my frustrating night on firday. I got to my car after a bad night and just wanted to break something. I drove five hours to my girlfriends house on saturday, it gave me some time to think. I decided it was time for a little break from poker. In the last 2 years I have played almost every day. I think it is a good time for me to take some time off. I am going to Vegas for my spring break for 3-5 days, I think I am going to take the time til then off. I also in the last week let poker interfear with my school work and got almost no sleep thursday and friday to catch up. I may check in here and there, but I'm really going to make a strong effort do anything but poker until finals are over March 19. If anyone whats to get ahold of me my E-mail is listed.

good luck with the finals. a break from poker seems like a good idea with exams on the way (can i ask which subject?).

I'll leap in and be the first to say it's +EV long term to pass your finals. i can't see the poker boom imploding in the next month, it'll probably happen the month after

Yep, best of luck on the exams. Hope a break changes you luck, I know it did for me last year. Decent idea and a good way to clear your head and get back in the "zone". See you when you get back!
