To the best of my knowledge the best places are to be found in London, Johnny, though the prices there for accomodation and food will be pricey. Most major cities have at least one cardroom, though London has 5 or 6 good ones, most notably the Vic (Victoria Square Grosvenor) which is the most famous in britain and fields numerous big PLO and NLHE games. Unlike las vegas, there is generally no accomodation to be had in Uk casinos and due to strict gambling laws you have to sign up as a "member" 24 hours before you can play, unless u can get one of the locals to sign you in. Where I live in Yorkshire there are very few good places to play, to the best of my knowledge, so I play almost exclusively online these days.
