Tomer Benvenisti, WSOP 2003

I've seen the same footage of the 2003 World Series and Tomer Benvenisti is referred to by the commentators as being an expeditionist. I've never heard of anyone being described as this and the first thought is always os someone who climbs Everest, walks across Antarctica or sails around the world.

Obviously this isn't the case as he's a big chunk of a guy, so I'm thinking he's rich and just a constant holiday (vacation) goer.

Anybody know what an Expeditionist is? Is Tomer one? I know how poker commentators can be prone to talking faster than the truth can stretch?

I apologise for the very banal question but I've spent the past week with it jumping into my head.
