JJ, After last night 8 tabling and then going back to my usual 4-6 tabling tonight, I'd have to agree. I am much more able to keep track of what's going on and how my opponents play when I only play 6 or less. I also believe that I have much better results when I only play for an hour (2 at the most) at a time.

Tonights session (6 tabling) went back to the way I like my sessions to go. I won back over 2 of the 4 buyins I lost last night and did it all in less than an hour with 2 less tables.
I like to call this "My Stairway To Heaven".




I'd have to say that I think I ran a little on the hot side tonight. TBQH, I don't actually recall ever getting allin in a single hand this session which seems to me to be a little wierd.

What would you have done?
When he CR'd me on the flop, I wanted to push but decided that maybe just getting to SD as cheaply as possible was prudent. The turn definitely did not make me feel any better, but still I called. When he checked the river, I wanted to bet but didn't figure I was getting called by anything worse than my hand. I liked winning the pot but I really feel like I coulda played the hand better.

I prolly just 3 barell the flop. Way to many draws out there to be messing around. And vene if he isn't drawing they are going to kill your action if they come.

Hand 1 I 3bet that flop - there are loads of cards you don't want to see on the turn.

Couldn't win for the life of me today or yesterday at the 25's. So I figured what better time to chase my losses at a higher stake. Actually I had been contemplating a shot at the 50's for some time now and when I got fed up with the folks at my normal tables I decided it was time. Didn't do too badly for my first session. (only 4 tabled)

Unfortunately, all that wasn't enough to over come this. Which of course is the past 2 days at NL25. Ugh. I hate it when everything goes your opponents way. Swong City baby! Either stacking or getting stacked. Got stacked more though.

I gotta give mad props to MVP as he did a little coaching for me tonight and helped me turn around what started out as a totally horrible session. I now understand what it means to "Squeeze", I now raise the button a lot more than I was doing, and I now feel better about my move up to the 50's. This last one being the most important. Thanks Adam. Course, if I start to lose, you're gettin the blame as well. :lol:

Maaaan, January has not been kind to me the 2nd half of the month. Talk about nothing but shit that causes stress. I hate big dips!

Man, NL50 6max is a lot swingier for me so far than NL25 was. Took a nosedive early on when I lost 2 races for stacks. Then made a nice comeback (without coaching this time, yay!). Only to head back downhill and and then up and down yet again before finally hitting my session ender below. Woot to finishing almost a buyin up after this crazy session.
