Just an absolute abortion of a session for me at NL50 tonight. I flopped like 6 sets and got action on NONE of them, then the 7th one I get set over setted. Just fucking wonderful. I hate poker. The last $75 or so drop at the end is tilt spew. 1200 hands -$200+. FUCK!!!!
Image

So, of course being the rational individual that I am, I decide it's time to take my first shot at the NL100 6max tables. Always smart to chase your losses at higher stakes. I think I heard that somewhere. Anyhoo, the games at the 100's worked a ton better for me. 288 hands $195+. Woot.

Image

Sooooo, not including the bonus cleared today, my daily graph looked like a big waste of time for basically breaking even or maybe losing a little. Add in the bonus I cleared and it was a break even day. I hate poker.
Image

And for the month we're not exactly looking at the prettiest graph in town but at least it's above zero. It would actually look a shit load better if I could somehow show my $560 mtt cash in this graph.
Image

I've got some HH's I'm curious about from the NL100 session but I'm just too effin tired to post them right now.

When you lose 5 buyins in one night, then only manage to win back ONE buyin over the next 2 days and bust out before the money in every MTT you enter as well, it always feels good to quit early and book a win.

Decided to mostly stay away from cash games tonight after losing more than 5 buyins last night to some HORRENDOUS luck and a couple bad calls. So tonight I decided to play the FTP Daily Double $12 MTT's. They had 1561 runners in the "A" in which I took a lofty 913th. But the "B", which had 1421 runners went quite a bit better. Only cashed for $88.10 so nothing huge, but I did make another $25 playing a little cash game during the early stages of the tourneys, so by the time I was ITM, I was freerollin which is nice.
Too bad I couldn't have won the thing though as that would have doubled my BR.
AT LEAST I FINISHED AHEAD OF THAT CANADIAN POSER IN 21ST!!!!!!

Hmmmm, since I'm the original Seb, or SebOriginal, which of course sounds like Aboriginal, Does that make me Australian? Little help here Roy?
WOOT to MTT's savin my ass in February!!!!

This sure was a nice change after the last 2 weeks of dropping $1100 at NL50. I've dropped back down to NL25 until I can be sure I am out of this horrible losing streak. I've also gone back to more of my 19/12 style rather than the 25/20 I've been using of late. So far it seems to be helping. Keeping fingers crossed.

14k hands so far this month and feeling pretty depressed after all the losing. Hopefully this latest uptick means I'm back on track and can make a little bit of a comeback before months end. If it weren't for the MTT winning this month I'd be suicidal.

Here's a magnified view from when I dropped back down to NL25 1252 hands ago.

I don't hardly ever chat while playing online. BUT, after his comment on the end, I made sure to live up to my SN and thoroughly get under his skin. He was thoroughly pissed by the time I left his sore loser ass to whine about me without me there. Honestly, I can't fathom him folding to my push with only ~$10 left and a really nice pot out there. He "claimed" to have folded an Ace.

I'm trying to satellite my way into the $750k guaranteed tomorrow so first I win a $4.40 SnG for a $26 tournament chip which I then used to enter a 48 person satellite mtt to the 750k. Everything goes as planned until this bullshit with 8 left. Top 5 get entries and 6th gets $72. I win this hand and I am in like Flynn. Sooooooo fukkin rigged.

I am finding it EXTREMELY difficult to look at this graph without thinking "What a fucking waste of time".
Image

Although I am still going to keep playing NL6max, (still making a profit with RB at least), I think I'm going to take a week or two and play a few more MTT's and SnG's than I have the past 5 months. Except for a few times where Full Tilt Poker has tried to force me to buy a new monitor and mouse, (See HH in post above this one.) I have been running fairly decent in them and I'd like to take advantage of that until it goes sour. Most likely tomorrow I know, but I'ma do it anyway.

On the brighter side of things, Twelver watched me play for a bit tonight and never once yelled "WTF R U DOING?!" or "Gawd man, you're killin' me here!" so I'm gonna take that as evidence of at least "some" improvement in my play.
Here is the graph of tonights session. Twelver watched me for the first half of it. The big 1 stack drop at the beginning was me running KK into a set of Tens.

FWIW the few times I played with you at NL$50 you seemed pretty decent, I think you're a winning player. I went over some hand histories (I have 700 hands with you, most probably datamined) and your biggest problem seems to be you slowplay too much and get fancy with the strong hands.

That said it's a small sample, but I'm surprised to see you down money after 63k hands.
The better player should win the race. Always.
