Friday, July 28th:

Soo i get back from my weekend trip to Philadelphia and tuesday night i sit down to play my normal 5 tables at 100nl and bam, in an hour i lose just shy of 4 buy ins and i get the hell out before it gets any worse. So after my few weeks of running great this must be the start of a losing streak. Hopefully this wont last too long and i can get back on track. I'm still not folding at times when i should which could of cost 1 of the 4 buy ins, but at least 3 were just bad luck and tip your hat. Havent played in last few days besides a few STG tournies here and there. Going to give ring games a try tonite and hope it goes better than tuesday. NO losingggggggg streak.

Monday, July 31st:


Well maybe it isnt the start of a losing streak at all and was just one hell of a bad night. I finally got the ambition to play the last few nights. Although i didnt really feel like it I made myself. It turned out not so bad taking $54.45 and $125.89 in 4 hours of play in the 2 nights. And the 2nd night was only an hour session and i didnt feel like playing anymore, go figure. cmon bankroll back over 3k.

Well it was a good night of stacking a bunch of donkeys calling a raise with j 10o with a flop of 2 10 Q and they call down there whole stack with me having QQ, god i love idiots. I also stacked a couple more donks, also ran my KK into AA, and a couple other smaller hands that i lost and nothing really can be done but tip your hat. If i didnt run into those hands it would of been one hell of a night. I also feel like i finally made some good folds tonite which ive been waiting for myself to do which helps the bankroll stay up. All in All a great night it was.

Thursday, August 3rd:


Grinded out a quick session for an hour and a half and rallied to make small profit. Won a few small pots and made some good folds again. Playing pretty well, let it continue.

Wednesday, August 9th:


Had a small loser last thursday night, and then i didnt play till last night which i won that small loss back plus a few more. Played in a softball tournament and drank some beers and hung out with old friends for the weekend, as well as pulling my hamstring while i was at it. Very painful and long recovering injury. And again i probably wont be playing now for almost 2 weeks because im going to myrtle beach with my girlfriend and her family. Gonna have some nice drinks, play some golf and just relax, and if i find a wireless connection ill play a little poker maybe. But not too much.

As for last night, I won a couple big pots, basically from short stackers and i hit sets against them. Only bad thing i was bluffed out of 2 decent sized pots, but hey that happens i guess. There stats seemed decent, and not too aggressive after the flop so i figured they had it, and they showed it to me. Pretty good session though. Off to South Carolina

Sunday, August 27th:


Well it has been awhile since ive written in here being in myrtle beach and philadelphia for awhile. I got back last Saturday and played a little bit on Bodog last Sunday. HIt a couple unlucky hands and was down about $75.00. Then I didnt play till I got back home in NY which was Wednesday night. I was wishing i had never left and stopped playin for 2 weeks because i just had bad cards and also was a little rusty. I ended up being down about 2 buy ins for the night and down about $275 since being back. Then Thursday night went a little better, although i started out down and rallied at the end of my session to come out $1 down for the night.

So friday i didnt play any cash game and at about 1 AM i decided to do a freeroll tournament for fun. Well i ended up coming in 2nd out of 795 people and won $125. Not too bad for free id say. Almost half of what i lost since im back right there. I was the chip leader with 4 people left, but hit an unlucky hand when i had top pair, and other guy caught 4 to the straight to take half my stack.

Last night i was back to the winning ways taking down a little over a buy in. Still feel a little rusty but i think its back to normal for the most part. still need to fold those damn over pairs to the sets, but im sure itll always be a project with that. Now on to build the roll and hopefully try 1/2 by mid to late september pending on where the roll is at.

Thursday, August 31st:



well sunday night wasnt to swell for me, although i did well in another freeroll tournament, i got 3rd out of 217 entrants, but the only problem was 1st and 2nd got the free entry into the 200k Saturday tournament at Party. So bubble boy i was on a bullshit hand. i had AK vs A8 and he spiked an 8 on turn, and also 4 to the flush river anyway so bam im out on the bubble, crap i just wanna try one of those big tournies but dont feel like paying the buy in. oh well. I also had a slow cash session, was kind of running even the whole way till about 2 hours in i got raped on 3 straight hands so i quickly exited.


monday was a strange session where i was card dead the whole 3 hours and i tripled up right at the end on a royal flush draw hand, caught the flush vs straight and set. So for getting no hands and just grinding did pretty well for being up a buy in that night.

tuesday i didnt play to much cash game. i started to while i was playing a multitable, but my comp shut off so i decided to just finish the tournament which i busted out early in, and lost a few bucks in cash. Also screwed with some sit n go;s all day, the ministeps and monster qualifiers. worked up to ministep 3, and monster qualifiers i won my money back and didnt get in.

last nite was a good night, played some more ministeps lost in level 3, but won 2 again to get back to 3, and got 2nd in monster qualifier to win 4 more than the buy in, ill get 1st one of these times. My sitn gos have been going pretty good overall, maybe i should try some regular ones, ive got: 1st,8th,2nd,3rd,1st,1st,2nd,6th,1st- only 2 bad finishes. Now in cash game last nite it was great. I hit alot of good cards, made some decent folds, had nothing hard to fold. Took down almost 4 buy ins and a good amount was on a set over set i finally got one.

Friday, September 1st:


Last nite was a bit of a grinder, i was down for awhile then got up about a buy in when i was getting to the end, and i get AA with it already raised pre flop, i jack it up more, and there are 5 callers. HOLY SHAT. i flop set of aces, so im thinkin yesss raised pot and flop the set, well of course one jack ass in that hand with 3 7 of all hands calls my flop bet to catch his gutshot straight. unbelievable donk with no odds whatsoever. and i lose about 80 in that hand. So i grinded out for a little 20 dollar profit. I guess its better than being down.

Saturday, September 2nd:


Last night was a good friday night type of session where in the first half hour i stacked 3 donks. Slowed down alot after that and just kind of hovered there. Although i did donk off $40 when i hit call of 40 on the wrong table by accident, and then when i called on the table i originally wanted to, i lost the hand anyway, so there went alot of money quick. So if not for the mistake $40 dollar call i would be sittin over 4k right now, but im $20 short. Almost time to give 1/2 a small try.

Monday, September 4th:


Well Saturday night/sunday morn was another good night, taking down a solid 2 and a half buy ins, killing donkeys and playin solid poker. But then Sunday night was a bad one, ran KK into AA, found an absolute psycho donkey, got it all in with a straight and he calls with 8 high flush draw, needed 4 to the straight and catches it for a stack and i cant catch anymore cards against him. Lost a few other small pots, and lost $60 on my first small try on nl 200 with a qq hand. So sunday no good, was over 4 k for a few hours and now its back under.

Wednesday, September 6th:

hmmmm well lets just say cold decked, bad luck, and probably 1 shoulda been fold and 3 buy ins down is what you get. Not a very good night to say the least. Ran into a few weird push situations that i probably should of folded, and got sucked out on another. This continues tomorow its lookin like a mini break. Tried a few Monster qualifiers as well and got the crap luck as well. Positive note although not much cash, i cashed in a $6 dollar LIMIT, cuz i didnt realize it wasnt NO LIMIT multi table tournament. placed 87th out of 1,015 and won $10.32. Not to bad for the mind anyhow.
