A short grinding session. I picked up a bunch of big hands but couldn't connect with the flop. However, I did a good job of stealing when everyone else missed. I made a couple of correct calls with odds and won a little more then I should have PEwise so I got a little lucky too.

A couple of bad session in the middle of the month are going to keep this from being a record breaker; however, if I can break even and clear all my bonuses I am going to beat my goal for this month.

Looking at my stats I am going to break my goals while playing around 60% of the hours I expected. That means my hourly wage will be around $45 / hr which IS a record breaking month for me.

I rather profitable session, I play some $200 and won 1.5 buys. I have still yet to have a break out session at the $200s but 1.5 buys I will take. However, that 1 break out session may give me the confidence I need to play up there consistently.

To win my 1.5 buy ins I stacked a shorty SHed with 2 pair and a low draw. He called me down with an OESD, a flush draw, and a worse low. I was 70% favorite. I also unhappily got it all in with the nut low draw and a pair of 3s. From OTB I raised pre-flop and got 5 (no kidding) callers, so there was already $100 in the pot. I ended up calling someone down who showed the 4th nut low and a broken flush draw so I scooped. Ummmm OK.

Looking back at this months results, I am not running that much better then I normally am. For some reason I thought I was on a heater but it doesn't look like I am. Since I started playing PLO8 I am running at 9PTBB/100. This year I am running at 12.5PTBB/100 and this month I am running at 13.8PTBB/100. So I am running slightly better then I usually do but I also think that I am playing better too.

Maybe this hourly rate is sustainable.

I guess all that bitching about not having a breakout session worked, I ended the day almost 2.5 stacks up at the $200 tables. I started the session by missing everything, and ended the session by hitting everything. It also helped that I picked up 2 big hands against 2 uber donks.

When I sat down at the table Ilia02062 had $380, calaella had $40, and I had $200. When I left the table I had over $600. Not bad for a days work.
