A 1.5hr session playing mostly 1/2 but some .5/1. I won but overall didn't play very well, the CS in my reared it's ugly head.

This is possibly the ugliest hand of poker that I have played in quite some time.

On that river what does he call the flop, and bet both the turn and river with that I beat? AT? I prolly should have folded the turn, but I don't think a call is horrible. However, that river call makes me want to puke.

I realized something interesting today. In 1.5 hours I didn't play well and won $89 for 5.2PTBB/100. Even at the $200 games I think I can run in the 7-9 range so winning $90 is actually a below average session for me. 12 months ago I would have killed to have a $90 session.

I am sitting in 10th to last class (hopefully ever) so I guess now is as good a time as any to do the analysis I haven’t had time to do yet

Overall Stats
My stats are where they have always been and I think I would like to improve what I always want to improve
- W$SF up to 27-28 for FR
- W$SD up to 54

Specific Hands
- I would like to do better with A2, I should be able to make more with A2 then I do with A3. I think this is still due to me being too much of a CS with the nut low
- Only call raises with good 234
- Play 23 less aggressively esp. SHed. I need to be making money with 23.
- Continue to play AA + card < 6 aggressively from all positions.
- Play high only hands more carefully.

Showdown
- I am overvaluing two pair
- I am overvaluing trips
- I win more with quads (in 40K hands I have a W$SD of 67)

Position
- Interestingly there isn’t a large drop in my BB/100 from Button to EP
- However there is a large win% of hands change
- I guess that means most of my value is from big hands and there is a little added in LP by position steals.
- My position VP$IP, PFR look good.

Table Size
- I need to play more SHed so I can get a better sense of my true winrate
- The VP$IP, aggression curve looks good as the game gets larger and smaller.

Overall
I think I need to be a little better at laying down hands when I am beat, but overall I am happy with these stats and my game as a whole.

That the the craziest session I have ever played. I started by losing 2 stacks (down $300). Then I went on a huge rush and won 4 stacks (up $400), then got cold decked and lost 1.5 stacks (ended up around $120).

I don't think I have ever played that many big hands in a session. Here is the list

Played a very short session and played like complete ass. Dropped a little over 2 buy ins which brings me to an impressive +33 (without bonuses) for the month. I dropped both stacks playing 6 handed PLO8 and I am beginning to think I don’t know how to play that game. It plays very different from 2-4 handed and very different then FR. My hand selection is playing more like FR but my in hand aggression is playing like 2-4 SHed. This seemed like a good strategy but the game seems to be completely running over me.

Uggg. I am now -818 in my last 4 sessions. Even more uggg because too much of it has been bad play. I am going to play another session tonight, lets see if I can turn things around. I need to get back to playing tight and aggressive esp 6 handed. Sometimes I migrate back to LP and it causes me to lose.

Edit: By tight aggressive I mean, tight when other people are betting and aggressive when they are not. I get in trouble when I raise people with marginal hands or call bets with marginal hands. 6 handed and FR most people play straight forward so I need to fold more often when bet at and bet more often when checked to.
