Played a very short session (30 mins). No real hands to report, just a couple of suckouts. I went to showdown 3 times and got sucked out each time

Meh. Down 1/2 a buy with a W$SD of 0.

A up and down session. I found a couple of good 2/4 games and decided to play. However, one of them was 6 handed Tribeca game against 5 LAGs. I need to figure out how to beat this type of game because looking back at my results for 1/2 I am running 5PTBB/100 at FT, 3PTBB/100 at Stars, and -3PTBB/100 at Tribeca. It seems like these games should be an absolute gold mine, but 6 handed the blinds come around really fast and because I am playing against 5 LAGs I have very little fold equity. From now on I am going to avoid the 2/4 SHed game until I can demonstrate that I can beat the 1/2 6 handed games. I know that I can beat most people HU, 3 way or 4 way. I know that I can beat most FR games, but this 6 handed middle ground is giving me fits.

Overall the plunge into 2/4 was profitable to the tune of 150ish. The bet sizes scared me a little but not as much as when I moved up to 1/2. I don't think this is an official move up, but I am going to keep my eyes open for other good 2/4 games.

I think the flop call is loose esp from a pre-flop raiser. I should have either raised if I thought I had fold equity or folded if I didn't.

Sometimes I really don't like this game. I got all in pre river 12 times this session, and every single time I had odds. Yet I earned greater then my EV only 4 times.

I was up $160 when the second to last hand listed above happened, to bring me down to up $100. I decided that I was done for the day so I unchecked post blinds on all my tables, when I picked up AA3. My though oh boy here we go again (a sure sign it was time to stop). I raise, the worst player ever calls. Flop is 26J, I pot he calls. Turn Q, I put him all in he calls and shows KK58 and spiked a king. Perfect end to a perfect session.

With this hand I can see why I am running at -4PTBB/100 over 1K hands at 1/2 Tribeca and -11PTBB/100 over 400 hands at 2/4 Tribeca.

I am starting to wonder if I am good enough to beat this game. It is funny because I do this every time I am on a bad run, then I feel totally invincible when I am running good. Historically my winnings have always had a steady up climb then every 2-3 months I have a nasty drop, then it picks up again. This has happened 6 times where the drops are getting bigger since I am moving up, yet every time I start to question my self.

For some reasons getting it in with odds every time isn’t satisfying. Intellectually I can say that I have been playing well and getting it in good but that isn’t totally convincing. The next time I sit down at a table after a big loss (or a almost big win like today) and my first thought is "will it happen again?" My second though is always looking around the table at the regulars like Pred, Phil (when I could play Party), and Dave, and wonder if I am good enough to play with these people.

Like I said in a previous post I am sure that in some upcoming session I will have a 3 buy in win, and all these feelings will drift away until I start running bad again. You would think I would learn but apparently not.
