Had a very juicy table and played real agressive, I'm proud for my patience and hand selection, threw away all kind of crap that I'd normally play.

I'm a little bit scared of the other side of this winning streak, can't keep on wining ~8 PTBB/Hour ... or can I?

Um, Tex. If you're planning on giving LHE a run I would suggest you play correctly rolled. Unless you don't mind adding $ as necessary.

If you have $200 on Titan and plan on playing 1/2 you're sitting with 100 BB's. As a guideline for full ring LHE 300-500 BB's is the general area you want to be in for a specific limit. 300 tends to be the low side and usually factors in moving down if you hit a bad run. 500 BB's is usually a good cushion for a given limit so for 1/2 having about 1K to work with should be fine to handle most swings.

Ok 2 short session this afternoon. While waiting for a seat in the 1/2 FR table, I sat down in a 6-max 0.5/1, where I had lots of luck and won $21.75 in about 9 hands.I decided to quit, and it was just in time as I got my seat in the 1/2 FR. I sat down for a short session of 41 minutes with no special hands, and a tiny win of $4.75.

Since I started this journal, I've put in only 286 hands with 20.37 PTBB/100 which seems pathetic... but I guess it takes some time to become poker's number one

Back from my one month without poker, straight to the Titan kingdom. Played some of this and some of that, NL microstakes and LHE everything up to 1/2 just to get back in shape. During my time off I was able to read a little bit the Theory of Poker and have enjoyed every chapter. I also decided to play at 0.5/1 LHE and to build my BR there, being under-rolled for 1/2 LHE.

Finally I sat down for some real 4-tabling 0.5/1 FR LHE sessions, I put in 328 hands in almost 6 hours. With $2.75 won and 0.84 PTBB/100. I'll have to stop bleeding chips in order to really improve my BB/100 rate.


Since I started playing 0.5/1 and 1/2 LHE I'm up $53.28 in 746 hands, and 3.76 PTBB/100.

I had AA only 3 times and won only 2 of them.

Finished a short 25 minutes session. Played 48 hands and won 13.54 PTBB/100.

Sat down for a solid 128 minutes session, with 2.60 PTBB/100 over 120 hands. I was playing good agressive poker.

What a shitty day....




I should've stopped after the first session when I was up 3 buyins for the day. STUPID STUPID STUPID

BTW - switched back to NL, at least until I clear my bonus at Titan. The low stakes tables over there are dead and I can hardly play one table, not to mention 4-tabling. I'm playing NL10 and feeling quite cosy. Today's losing session was mainly due to bad beats and I think I played well, at least until the last hands where I tilted and quit.
