I'm kinda running behind with update. I wanted to focus on playing more this weekend rather than examining the game since fish count is a bit higher. I played about 55k hands this month and run at decent(given my play at start of month) 3.2ptbb. So it has been a good month given that I only made RB in October since i ran breakeven for like 50k hands. It was the first month in my poker career that I've been in red by few $$. All thanks to losing 8k$ on 5/10 and then playing on some sort of continuous tilt on 600s.

So the hands I misplayed on 30th.

http://weaktight.com/52452 - This guy is quite nitty, I think like 8% PFR and his steal attempt is like 15% so I think cold calling could be good here too. I'm sure I could outplay him for most part postflop to make cold calling better than 3 betting OOP. This is one of the spots that both lines have almost same EV, just one is less violate

http://weaktight.com/52443 - Arg..I put him on the hand he had but unfortunately I kinda got scared of the KJ so I didn't make the CR big enough. Actually CR is kinda good since I was not calling more than 80$ there so my play here is still ++EV. And he might even call this CR with a dominated Kx.

Ok, quick plan for the month.
1)Play around 100k hands It will be extremely difficult to accomplish but Its a must. It will be hard given the holiday season, being forced to study for exams and doing fun stuff on the side.

2) Moving up to 5/10 by end of this month. I feel that I'm ready at this point but I'm a BR nit and hate moving down so I will rather wait a bit more. Most of the regs that I think are joke at my stake also play 5/10. Basically I've played with all the regs on 5/10 there since 3/6 doesn't get too much traffic anyways.

3) Improve my CBets, I've recently noticed I'm not paying too much attention to flop texture(I am to some point, but I need to work more on adapting to each individual opponent. For example, some will CR me every single time on T25r flop while others will fold all the time. So basically I need to make sure that my Cbets create a positive return.

4) Work on the play in limped pots(when I check BB for most part). I'm kinda having trouble with these since most ppl don't post hands on those so I have no examples to learn from. I'm sure that I can do much in that segment.

5) Improve my double barreling so that I burn less money in some spots, cut down some semi bluffing spots w draws where fish will call my turn bet but will not pay me off on river enough. Those spots are rare but still.

6) Start bluffing more on river and work further on improving thin valuebets which will set me up for more believable bluffs. I think i bluff river maybe 5% of time at this point, I need to get this to 10-15% at end of this month. I only bluff when I'm sure villain cant call or I can represent easily a strong hand so my bluffs almost never get caught.

So hopefully run at 4+PTBB which should prove that I'm good enough for 5/10
I'm @ 3ptbb after 150k hands so with the continuous improvement in game this should be possible

Another good day. I started down 4 BI after like 200 hands since I lost 3 sets in row. Afterwards I just started to hit sets like sick and finished up almost 5 BI

Oh dear some beats man. That 23 hand is a tilter. Hard life on that level with people playing those hands so strong.
