Donked off $200 playing PLO yesterday, had a quick session today of around 30min for +$450.

My iPod arrived from the cake store as well, good news is it did not affect my rakeback last month, ill keep an eye on it this month to see if it was carried over...

Looking forward to putting in a solid session this evening, no tilt, no crazy bluffs!

Last couple of sessions have been good (play wise) and at expectation results wise, +$200 since the last update.

Despite losing 4-5 stacks to genuine bad beats, actually had a good session, +$550.

Best hand involved calling a smallish 3bet with 77 150BB deep and stacking a fool with AA when I flopped quads. Lesson to be learned: Don't give your opponents the odds to call for set (or quad ) value when playing deep stacked.

Well my last session netted around $1200 sklansky bucks, pity I only ended up with $500 real bucks

Went and got some of the sklansky bucks. AK hates me still, lost $400 with it... oh well, +$400 overall.

Wow... just played a NL200 session where I took beat after beat and thankfully ended up breaking even.

Highlights include losing a $650 pot all in preflop with AA (vs KK) and a $400 all in on a 7 high flop with TT vs A7. Loads of river suckouts vs shortstacks as well.

I think I only made "bad" mistakes that lost around $200, so overall fairly happy with the session.

Just had a poker free weekend, cashed out $700 of my roll to pay for a new car stereo:



Have my entire music collection connected up via the "free" iPod from the Cake store - very happy with the treble and midrange, although unsurprisingly the system is a touch lacking in bass for now. Any experts in car audio on the forum? Whats my next step?

There are a couple of average 6" speakers on the parcel shelf that the previous owner had installed with a cheap sony cd player.

My wife and I are looking at purchasing a house in the next month or two, its really just a matter of finding the right property at this stage. The net result is that I plan to use my poker winnings to buy shit for the house, so this journal may soon become a shopping list / thinly veiled brag journal about the fun things I am buying
